Good Deeds + Good Words – Day 2.3

Have you ever heard the expression: “No good deed goes unpunished”?  I’m sure that it can mean a variety of things in a variety of situations; but it means that there is often a cost for doing something good for someone else.

  • It will cost you time, inconvenience, etc.
  • The person may misunderstand your intentions
  • The person may ask more from you
  • The person may be angry or insulted or make fun of you

But regardless of the cost, there is always the chance and opportunity that the person make say something like: “Why would you do this for me?”

Here is the opportunity with their permission to share some of the Good News about what Jesus has done and is doing in you.
